Selena Rae Webb

Cinematographer & Producer

Webb graduated with Honors from Ball State University Majoring in Telecommunications with a Minor in Design and Technology.

During her time at BSU she wrote and produced content for Indiana’s PBS station, WIPB and worked as the Video Team Lead for BSU’s in house production company, The Digital Corps. After graduation she worked as an Editor for the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the National Children’s Museum. While editing remotely, post grad she moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue more on set work.

Her working history in the camera department since 2019 includes camera assisting for Academy Award nominated short “Please Hold” and operating on documentaries, features, and commercial content for cable and streaming services like ABC, Disney, Netflix, Discovery, Lifetime, and more. In addition to these larger projects, she is constantly DP’ing narrative projects in the indie film world. 



After years in the camera world, Webb broadened her skills into producing and since 2023 has shot and produced 5 narrative shorts currently on the festival circuits.

Also passionate about parity in film, Webb has continued to devote her time to several female led and crewed projects in L.A. including “Outlaws” created with 48 Hour Women’s Weekend Challenge, “Smashed” shot at CBS Studios with Women in Media, and comedy thriller short “White Elephant”.

Selena still lives and works in Los Angeles, California as a Cinematographer and Producer. Passport holder, open to travel.
